1. Certified copy of secondary school leaving certificate and transcript.
2. Doctoral thesis project on any of the topics listed below:

4. Copy of the passport page stating the applicant´s personal particulars
5. Copy of University certificate and transcripts or mark sheet authenticated at the Ministry of Education and Legalized at the Ministry of Foreign affairs of your country.
6. Official translation of the diplomas and diploma supplements into English
7. English language proficiency certificate or letter from the previous university indicating that all studies were conducted in English language.
8. Motivation latter.

PhD THESIS TOPICS FOR ADMISSION 2024/2025
Environmental Sciences and Applied Biology:
a. Global change effects on nutrient cycling in coastal wetlands or
b. Influence of management and plant community type on bird species diversity in coastal wetlands: the use of UAVs and machine learning tools

Forestry:

APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR PHD
1. The applicant must hold a Master's degree or a corresponding level of education.
2. Interested applicant will sign a contract with us, pay the application fee and deposit the GITCCO processing fee in joint account.
3. We will provide the applicant with the necessary details needed to find a prospective supervisor.
4. After finding a supervisor, applicant will send us his PhD thesis project.
5. GITCCO will commence your application when the institute/department confirms their ability to accommodate your research topic and you have found a supervisor.
6. GITCCO will check your cv/resume, motivation letter and all other credentials to ensure it comply with the requirement.
7. GITCCO will help the applicant submit his document at the University and NARIC centre.

PROCESSING FEE PAYMENT OPTIONS
Applicants are obliged to choose any of the payment plans below:

1. PAYMENT AFTER VISA:
A onetime payment of 1,300 EUR is required from applicants who wishes to pay the processing fee after we have secured the visa. Applicants who choses payment after visa option are required to either escrow the total service charge or open a joint account with us in countries where we have representative. This money is expected to be released to us only when visa is ready.

2. PAYMENT BEFORE VISA:
A total of 1000 Euro is required from applicants who wishes to pay before visa is granted. It could be paid at 500 Euro initial deposit (before visa) and balance of 500 Euro after visa is granted.

NOTE: All applicants from African countries must visit Estonia embassy in Egypt or United Arab Emirate (AbuDabi) or in any other country to apply for Estonian Visa.
